Ukraine's food industry remains one of the key sectors of the economy, despite the war, logistical difficulties, and rising costs. The industry supports the domestic market, maintains exports, and preserves jobs, demonstrating relative resilience in crisis conditions. Against this backdrop, companies stand out that have not only held their positions but remain attractive employers. This is reported by Inkorr.
Based on the results of 2025, the top three employers in the food industry included large international and Ukrainian companies that invest in personnel, production safety, and long-term development.
1. Roshen: one of the largest employers in Ukraine's food industry
Roshen remains one of the largest producers of confectionery products and a stable employer. The company provides thousands of jobs, offers competitive salaries, social guarantees, and internal training programs. Even in wartime, Roshen supports production, adapts logistics, and invests in modernization.
2. Coca-Cola: international standards and stable employment
Coca-Cola in Ukraine is associated with high labor standards, corporate culture, and transparent employment conditions. The company offers official employment, social packages, and career advancement opportunities. For many employees, a key advantage is the stability of an international brand even in a crisis period.
3. Nestlé Ukraine: personnel development and long-term prospects
Nestlé Ukraine remains one of the most attractive employers in the food industry. The company focuses on personnel development, investments in labor safety, and environmental standards. Nestlé actively implements training programs, supports local workers, and maintains a stable market presence.
According to analysts, in the first half of 2025, imports of agri-food products to Ukraine increased by approximately 10%, with more than half of the supplies coming from EU countries. This emphasizes the importance of the industry adapting to European markets and the role of large employers in maintaining competitiveness.
