Ukrainian Business Award has identified the top-5 metallurgical companies in Ukraine for 2026. The leader is "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih", followed by "Metinvest", "Zaporizhstal", "KAMET-STAL", and Southern Mining and Processing Plant. The industry continues to operate under the pressure of war and new CBAM requirements. This is reported by Ukrainian Business Award.

The ranking is based on a complex of indicators, including financial dynamics, production capabilities, the number of industries using the products, digital presence, customer experience, reputation, and expert assessment by the jury. The maximum result of the ranking is equivalent to 100%.

1. ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih — 100%

First place with a score of 16.14 points and 100% is occupied by "ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih". The enterprise has been operating for 91 years, its products are represented in 10 industries, and its production covers eight areas of metal processing. The company also received 9 points for Web Performance Index, 8 points for customer experience, and 8.6 points from the expert jury. In 2026, the enterprise continues to operate under particularly difficult conditions due to Russian attacks, one of which partially halted production.

2. Metinvest — 89.4%

"Metinvest" scored 14.43 points, or 89.4% of the leader's result. The group's strength is its diversification: its products are used in 14 industries, and its technological capabilities cover eight areas of metal processing. The company has the highest CX Index among the top-5 participants — 9 points, as well as the largest number of brand search queries on Google — 16.2 thousand. In 2025, revenue amounted to UAH 13.22 billion according to data used by UBA. At the same time, the group is developing international assets and plans to integrate into the European metallurgy sector.

3. Zaporizhstal — 87.8%

"Zaporizhstal" took third place with a score of 14.17 points, which corresponds to 87.8% of the winner's result. The plant has been operating for 92 years, supplying products for nine industries and having seven areas of metal processing. One of its main advantages has been its financial dynamics: revenue increased from UAH 56.40 billion in 2023 to UAH 72.01 billion in 2025. According to Web Performance Index, the enterprise received a maximum of 10 points among participants, and the expert jury rated it 8.6 points.

4. KAMET-STAL — 74.2%

Fourth place went to "KAMET-STAL" with a score of 11.97 points, or 74.2%. This is the oldest enterprise among the participants of the study: its history spans 137 years. The company serves eight industries and encompasses seven areas of metal processing. Its revenue increased from UAH 43.07 billion in 2023 to UAH 58.78 billion in 2025. UBA also emphasizes its high Web Performance Index at the level of 9 points and significant manufacturing expertise accumulated over more than a century of work.

5. Southern Mining and Processing Plant — 57.8%

The Southern Mining and Processing Plant rounded out the top-5 with a score of 9.33 points and 57.8%. The enterprise has been operating for 71 years and is represented in five industries. Its key advantage in the ranking was its financial dynamics: revenue increased from UAH 6.64 billion in 2023 to UAH 24.76 billion in 2025, while UBA rated its revenue change rate at 109.17%. The Southern Mining and Processing Plant also received 9 points for Web Performance Index, 8 for customer experience, and 8.6 points from the expert jury.

The results of the ranking show that the competitiveness of Ukrainian metallurgy in 2026 is determined not only by production capacities. Financial stability, technological diversification, working with clients, and the ability of enterprises to adapt to war and changes in the European market have become important.

Recall that earlier Inkorr wrote about the largest private investors in Ukraine, among which "Metinvest" ranks second.
