Asters topped the ranking of law firms in Ukraine in 2026, achieving a maximum score of 100% and significantly ahead of competitors. The top five also included 'Ilyashev and Partners', 'Vasil Kisil and Partners', AVELLUM, and AEQUO. This is evidenced by the results of the ranking published by the Ukrainian Business Association.
1. Asters
Asters took first place with a score of 14.15 points, or 100%. It is a large Ukrainian law firm with over 25 years of experience, specializing in complex corporate transactions, litigation, antitrust issues, and banking and financial law. Among its advantages are a wide range of specialization, a large team of litigators, and the ability to work on international projects through offices in London and Washington.
2. 'Ilyashev and Partners'
'Ilyashev and Partners' scored 8.62 points, or 60.9% of the leader's score. The firm has been operating since 1997 and has offices in Kyiv, Odesa, and Kharkiv. The firm's strong areas include litigation, bankruptcy, debt collection, corporate disputes, international trade, and labor law. Its extensive presence in Ukraine makes it a convenient choice for businesses requiring legal support in multiple regions.
3. 'Vasil Kisil and Partners'
The firm 'Vasil Kisil and Partners' took third place with a score of 7.76 points, or 54.8%. The firm has been operating since 1992 and specializes in dispute resolution, corporate, antitrust, labor, banking, and financial law. Among the firm's notable advantages is experience in cross-border disputes, patent protection, and support for M&A and projects in the fields of defense, energy, pharmaceuticals, and technology.
