IZOVAT topped the rating of manufacturers of thermal insulation materials in Ukraine for 2026. The top five also includes Sweetondale, VIK BUD, novoterm, and Valkyria, which offer materials for retaining heat at home, insulating facades, roofs, and floors. This is reported by Ukrainian Business Award.
Which insulation manufacturers made it to the top 5 in 2026
1. IZOVAT: Basalt Wool for Insulation and Soundproofing
IZOVAT took first place with a score of 24.13 points. The manufacturer produces non-combustible thermal insulation from basalt for facades, roofs, ceilings, and partitions. Benefits of the materials: vapor permeability, sound absorption, and a variety of slab densities. This allows selecting the insulator based on load and installation method.
2. Sweetondale: Insulation and Integrated Construction Systems
Sweetondale scored 18.08 points. The range includes mineral wool and extruded polystyrene XPS for various parts of the building. The company offers ready-made insulation systems for roofs, foundations, floors, and facades. The practical advantage lies in the ability to select compatible materials for insulation and protection from moisture.
3. VIK BUD: Polystyrene Sheets and Facade Kits
VIK BUD took third place with 10.14 points. The company produces EPS boards for insulating facades and other structures, in particular for floor insulation which can be compared to mineral wool solutions. Advantages: lightweight, easy to process, production of boards in required sizes, and the possibility to order glues, meshes, and fixtures.
4. novoterm: Thermal and Sound Insulation for Various Structures
novoterm scored 9.79 points. The Kharkiv manufacturer offers thermal and sound insulation materials for frame structures, facades, roofs, and floors, as well as technical and industrial insulation. The division of products by purpose helps to select materials according to the operating conditions of the structure and requirements for thermal and sound protection.
5. Valkyria: Thermal Blocks for Energy-Efficient Construction
Valkyria rounded out the top five with 8.30 points. The company produces polystyrene blocks of non-removable formwork for Thermodim technology. After concrete pouring, they remain part of the wall and perform insulation functions. The combination of formwork and thermal insulation allows for considering energy efficiency of residential buildings during construction.
