Trump's meeting with oil companies

Donald Trump during a meeting with leaders of oil companies at the White House showcased a new badge depicting himself. This miniature figure, named 'Happy Trump', became a part of his image at the event, where he also expressed his dissatisfaction with the Nobel Committee. Trump noted that he did not receive the Peace Prize despite having 'stopped eight wars'.

Trump's comments on the Nobel Peace Prize

Speaking before those present, Trump remarked:

“I stopped eight wars, and I think that has been a great embarrassment for Norway”
. He also emphasized that for each of these wars, a prize is traditionally awarded, as some conflicts lasted up to 30 years. Trump believes that his achievements in peacekeeping have not been adequately recognized.

Additionally, Trump commented on the controversial statements regarding Maria Corina Machado, stating that 'the opposition figure should not have become a laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize'. Thus, he continues to criticize the Nobel Committee and its decisions, which, in his opinion, do not reflect the real merits of the candidates.

Trump's statements regarding the Nobel Peace Prize reflect his desire to legitimize his actions on the international stage, as well as his wish to more actively influence public opinion. As the issues of peace and security remain relevant in the global context, his comments may be perceived as an attempt to strengthen his position in the political spectrum, especially considering the possibility of participation in future elections. It remains to be seen how the international community will respond to these statements and what consequences they may lead to.
