Trump approved peace plan for Ukraine: what is known about the 28 points

Трамп затвердив мирний план для України: деталі 28 ключових аспектів.

US President Donald Trump has endorsed a peace plan between Russia and Ukraine developed by senior officials in his administration. Influential figures such as Trump's special envoy, the vice president, the secretary of state, and the president's son-in-law were involved in the development of this 28-point plan. The aim of the plan is to ensure security for both sides for a stable and lasting peace. The document is currently in the negotiation stage with key stakeholders, so detailed information is not yet public.

From other sources, it has become known that the terms proposed in the plan require Ukraine to make serious concessions, such as the transfer of the rest of Donbas, halving the army, recognizing the Russian language as official, and others. This initiative is associated with a corruption scandal in the Ukrainian government and may indicate an attempt by the Kremlin to exploit the situation. The Secretary of State aims for difficult steps to end the war in Ukraine and achieve peace.

In reaction to the peace plan, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham expressed some doubts, while the Kremlin claims that there is no peace plan. Ukrainian officials have not confirmed their involvement in the formulation of the plan, and the visit of a US military delegation to Ukraine is perceived as an attempt to revive peace negotiations.
