Transfermarkt has updated the market value of players in the Ukrainian Premier League. The most expensive player in the championship is Shakhtar Donetsk forward Kauan Elias, valued at 15 million euros by analysts. This is reported by Ukrainian Football.
Most expensive UPL players after Transfermarkt update
Shakhtar dominates the top of the ranking with eight players representing the Donetsk club. This reflects its focus on promising Brazilian legionnaires and the decision not to sell team leaders before important matches.
The second place goes to right winger Alisson, valued at 13 million euros. Four other players are priced at 12 million euros: Gabriel Carvalho, Marlon Gomes, Mykola Matviyenko, and Kyiv Dynamo forward Matviy Ponomarenko.

Formally, it refers to the top 10 positions, but 11 players made the list. The reason lies in the equal valuation of three players sharing the eighth and tenth places.
Shakhtar outpaces Dynamo in football talent value
Dynamo is represented by three players. The most expensive among them is Matviy Ponomarenko. His valuation of 12 million euros is backed by his performance as the top scorer in the UPL, having scored 13 goals in the 2025/26 season.
Defender Taras Mykhavko and defensive midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko are valued at 10 million euros each. Thus, the total value of the three Dynamo representatives in the ranking stands at 32 million euros.
The eight Shakhtar players are together valued at 93 million euros. For the club, this is not just a sports resource but a significant potential transfer asset. Importantly, most of the represented players could still increase in value with successful performances in European competitions.
The evaluations by Transfermarkt are not guaranteed sale prices. The actual amount depends on the contract, age, demand, performance, and the club's negotiating position. A notable example remains the transfer of Mykhailo Mudryk, for which Shakhtar agreed to receive up to 100 million euros including bonuses.
