The State Emergency Service of Ukraine, together with the Air Forces and regional government administrations, is implementing a new system of special signals. Now these signals will be expanded throughout the country to reduce the duration of alarms in areas where there is no real threat. This was reported by the head of the government, Yulia Svyrydenko, referring to information from «Glavkom».

The first tests of the new system took place in 13 regions, and now it covers all regions of Ukraine. Data indicates that this system has already yielded positive results.

According to Svyrydenko, the new system of special signals has significantly reduced the duration of alarms, especially in frontline and central regions. The most noticeable improvements have been observed in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where some communities have lived without alarms for over 100 days. In the Sumy region, the duration of alarms has decreased by 50 days, and in the Kharkiv region – by over a month in certain communities.

One of the main advantages of the new measures is the reduction of the time taken to transmit signals from the Air Forces to the SES from several minutes to 8-15 seconds. This allows for a more effective response to potential emergencies and protects the population of the country.

Recently, in the night of December 15, Russian terrorists attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region, damaging the railway station in Pyatykhatky and cutting off electricity in some areas.

As a result of the implementation of the new system of special signals across the territory of Ukraine, the duration of alarms has been reduced, which allows for a more prompt response to emergencies and improves the safety of citizens of the country.
