Three men died in a well in Bukovina. In the village of Chunkiv, Chernivtsi region, three men died during cleaning works in a well. The circumstances of their death are to be established based on the results of the examination. This was reported by Glavkom with reference to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Chernivtsi region.
According to the State Emergency Service, on August 15, rescuers received a report that in one of the private households, three people had descended to the bottom of a well and had stopped showing signs of life. These were men born in 1971, 1997, and 1994.
Other rescue incidents
Earlier in the Kyiv region, rescuers had to retrieve the same man from a well for the second time. According to preliminary information, the man was in a state of alcohol intoxication.
It should be noted that in Zhytomyr, rescuers assisted a man who climbed onto a support of a suspension bridge in the center of the city and could not descend by himself.
Additionally, in Odesa, people got stuck on a ride in Shevchenko Park. The system stopped working due to a power outage.
Previously, it was reported that in the Transcarpathian region, rescuers found a tourist who had been wandering in the Carpathians for ten days. The tourist was found in the Bolotyn Hrun area of the Rakhiv district in an exhausted state. He was fed, given hot tea, treated for wounds, and then taken to the village of Bohdan and handed over to the emergency medical service. Ultimately, the injured person was hospitalized at the Rakhiv district hospital.
