Starting from November 1, trolleybus No. 6 is once again operating between Rivne and Gorodok via Obaryv. After a six-year hiatus, the restoration of the trolleybus route provides residents of three communities with an additional option to commute to work and study. This is reported by Suspilne.
Trolleybus Rivne — Gorodok: Schedule and Fare in November 2026
According to the published schedule, the first trips on weekdays depart:

from Rivne from the trolleybus depot — at 06:52;

from Gorodok — at 07:48.
The fare ranges from 16 to 18 UAH depending on the payment method. The same tariffs apply on the restored route as on other trolleybus directions in the city.
For two trips a day, a passenger without benefits will spend 32–36 UAH. If using the transport for 22 working days a month, this will amount to 704–792 UAH. The calculation takes into account only the trip to and from work, without additional transfers.

Routes to Gorodok: How the Schedule Will Be Adjusted in November 2026
In the first days after the launch, the carrier will study the passenger flow. After that, the exact number of trips and the schedule for the route will be determined.
«We will work more in the morning and after lunch», — said the company's director, Valentyn Tkachuk.
According to him, the primary goal is to ensure people can get to work and return home. Trips during lunchtime will depend on demand, so passengers should check the schedule before traveling.
Driver Ihor Hryhoriev explained that the route was initially suspended due to the pandemic and restrictions on suburban transportation. Later, the reconstruction of the Rivne — Lutsk — Ustilug highway hindered restoration.
The launch was made possible based on an agreement for inter-municipal cooperation. The Gorodok community allocated 2 million UAH by the end of 2026 for compensation for discounted fares for its residents in Rivne transportation. The expenses for the transportation of privileged passengers from the Rivne community will be covered by the city.
