On his page on the social network Truth Social, Trump emphasized the need for a speedy trial and called the perpetrator 'a beast.'

'THE BEAST that so brutally killed a beautiful young woman from Ukraine, who came to America seeking peace and safety, must receive a 'Speedy' (no doubt!) trial and ONLY be given the DEATH PENALTY. There can be no other option!!!'

Irina Zarutska moved to the USA due to the war started by Russia against Ukraine. The tragedy occurred on August 22 when the girl was returning home after her work shift. She became a victim of an attack in a rapid transit train, where she was killed by an unknown man.

After his arrest and medical assistance, Brown was charged with first-degree murder. Trump's statement regarding the death penalty for the killer underscores the public and political discourse surrounding this event in the USA.
