On the 5th anniversary of the #IzolyatsiaMustSpeak information campaign and on International Human Rights Day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that the aggression of the Russian Federation will not disappear by itself. No one should harbor illusions: appeasing the aggressor is a proven historical mistake.
All the horrific crimes committed by Russian invaders in Ukraine must receive legal assessment and appropriate punishment. Collective courage is needed to defend one's own values. The international community is called to increase pressure on Russia until its crimes are stopped and all illegally imprisoned are released.
We call for doubling efforts to create and launch the work of a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine to properly investigate and hold all responsible accountable.
