In October 2025, Krakow became the leader in terms of average salary among Polish cities. It recorded the highest average monthly income, allowing the city to surpass Warsaw and Gdansk. This is reported by InPoland.
According to statistics, the average salary in Krakow reached 11,160.39 zlotys. For comparison, in Warsaw, employees received an average of 10,606.89 zlotys, while in Gdansk, it was 10,370.97 zlotys. The national average was lower at 8,865.12 zlotys.
Salaries in Poland at the end of 2025
Information from the Central Statistical Office of Poland indicates that the wage level in the country continues to rise. In annual terms, the average salary increased by 6.6%, and compared to September, by 1.3%. The highest incomes are traditionally recorded in large economic centers, where IT, the financial sector, and international business are concentrated.

Cities in Poland with the lowest incomes
At the same time, not all regions demonstrate positive dynamics. The lowest average salaries at the end of 2025 were recorded in the following cities:

The difference between leading city Krakow and the outsider Gorzów Wielkopolski was 3,650.39 zlotys. This highlights the significant unevenness of income across different regions of Poland and varying opportunities in local labor markets.
