The club 'Old Lutsk-University' announced the termination of cooperation with coach Anton Musienko. The club expressed gratitude to the coach for his contribution to the team's development and the work done together with the players and coaching staff.
Anton Musienko took charge of the team in February as the interim coach, but the team under his leadership failed to win any of the five matches in the regular championship and lost 0:2 to 'Kyiv-Basket' in the quarter-finals of the playoffs. Despite this, Musienko became a full-fledged head coach before the championship started but did not achieve a debut victory.
This week, 'Old Lutsk' will play against 'Zaporizhzhia' and 'Dnipro'. It should be noted that the national men's basketball team of Ukraine secured its second victory in the pre-qualification for the World Championship 2027, beating Switzerland 73:64.
