The opening ceremony of the first Ukrainian Center for Unity in Germany took place in Berlin. Germany has provided a space for Ukrainians where joint activities will be carried out to support Ukraine and Ukrainians living in Germany.

In addition to joint projects and maintaining ties with Ukraine, the Center for Unity will provide consultations to Ukrainian citizens regarding their return to their homeland.

'We want the Center for Unity to become a place where life is felt. We want to show our compatriots in Germany and German citizens what today's real Ukraine is, which we want to build together with our partners'
- said Ilona Havronska, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine.

The celebrations also included the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany, Oleksii makeev, and the State Secretary of the German Ministry of the Interior, Bernd Kriesser.

Additional information can be found on the official website of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity.

The Ukrainian Center for Unity in Berlin was created to promote interaction between Ukrainians and the local community, support Ukrainian culture, and facilitate the return of citizens to their homeland. This is an important step in the development of Ukrainian-German relations and support for Ukrainians who are in Germany.
