Emergency power outages have already been implemented in most regions of Ukraine. This information was disseminated by the 'Glavcom' portal, citing 'Ukrenergo'.
It is noted that the power outage schedules in regions with emergency outages are currently not relevant. Energy workers are working on restoring stable electricity supply. The reason for the increased restrictions in electricity supply is the consequences of previous missile-drone attacks. The cancellation of emergency power outages is planned after the stabilization of the situation in the energy system.
According to the information, on the night of December 9, enemy attacks caused damage to energy facilities in several regions of Ukraine. As a result, power outages were recorded in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions by morning.
Given the increased risks to Ukraine's energy infrastructure, it is very important to be prepared for planned, emergency, or prolonged power outages, especially in cold conditions. The 'Glavcom' magazine recommends properly preparing your home, having supplies of necessary items, and knowing how to act in case of power, heating, and water outages.
Ukraine is facing emergency power outages due to damage to the energy infrastructure caused by enemy attacks. Stabilizing the situation in the energy system will allow for the lifting of restrictions and the return of a stable electricity supply to the country's residents.
