Incident in Yahotyn
On May 28, around 3:16 PM, police in the Boryspil district arrested a local resident after he fired a shotgun from his apartment window in the town of Yahotyn, striking and damaging a vehicle. The shooter targeted a car belonging to a female complainant, but no people were injured in the incident.
The suspect was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Authorities have opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which covers hooliganism and carries a penalty of three to seven years in prison.
