The screening meetings of the Ukrainian delegation with the European Commission on negotiation chapter 11 'Agriculture and Rural Development' have concluded in the capital of Belgium. Over three days of discussions, Ukraine presented 28 thematic blocks related to various aspects of agricultural policy.

Representatives of the Ukrainian side presented different blocks, discussing the state of reforms in agriculture, progress in digitalization, state support, and market regulation. Attention was also drawn to aligning Ukraine's legislation with EU law in the field of agriculture.

These discussions revealed two key things: we have already made significant progress in bringing agricultural policy closer to EU standards, but there is still much work ahead. The accession process requires joint efforts and close coordination. Ukraine is ready to follow this path.

Representatives of the European Commission expressed support and interest in cooperation following a positive assessment of the materials presented. Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, Denys Bashlyk, emphasized the country's readiness for integration into the common EU agricultural policy.

As a result of the screening meetings in Brussels, certain agreements and support from the European Commission were achieved regarding the approximation of Ukraine's agricultural policy to EU standards. The dialogue between the parties demonstrated readiness and willingness to cooperate and integrate with European partners. This means that Ukraine continues its active course towards European integration in the agricultural sector.
