The Christian Democratic Union of Germany has urged the government to allocate more funds for Ukraine, especially in the area of defense. A party spokesperson stated that rejecting the budget requests from the Ministry of Defense could jeopardize the security not only of Ukraine but of all Europe.
The politician emphasized that the deterioration of national security in Europe requires immediate action and also highlighted the importance of creating deterrence mechanisms, especially along the borders with Ukraine, to ensure peace and stability.
Conclusion: The Christian Democratic Union of Germany expressed serious concerns regarding the rejection of budget requests for defense spending and called on the government to increase aid to Ukraine to ensure security in the region. Special attention was also paid to the violations by Russian drones in Poland, which pose a threat to the European defense system.
