Russian occupiers attacked Chernihiv

In the night leading up to today, the Russian occupation army launched an attack on Chernihiv. The enemies struck important facilities in the city. This was reported by the head of the Chernihiv MVA, Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, as reported by Glavkom.

According to information from the MVA, fires broke out in several places after the shelling. Currently, there is no information about casualties. There are reports that the enemy hit critical infrastructure.

Attacks on energy infrastructure

Recall that on the evening of October 4, Russian occupiers attacked the Donetsk region. The main targets were critical energy facilities. As a result of the attack on the energy facility in Slavutych, the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant was cut off from electricity supply.

An emergency situation occurred at the Chernobyl NPP. Due to sharp voltage fluctuations, the new 'shelter' over reactor No. 4, which is a key object for containing radiation and preventing its release into the environment, was left without electricity.

During the recent events in Ukraine, the Russian occupiers have intensified their attacks on critical infrastructure, ranging from the Chernobyl NPP to important urban facilities. The situation is escalating, and the authorities are making every effort to protect the civilian population and vital facilities.
