Birth in the Chernivtsi Region

Maria Mytryk, 36, has given birth to her tenth child, a boy, in the Khotyn Multidisciplinary Hospital in the Chernivtsi region. The newborn, named Mark, weighed 3720 grams at birth. Khotyn Mayor Andrii Dranchuk shared the news, highlighting this significant family event.

Maria Mytryk's Experience

This delivery marks the tenth time Maria Mytryk has given birth. Her family now consists of five daughters and five sons, all of whom were born naturally without medical intervention. Tetyana Bondarchuk, head of the hospital's obstetrics and gynecology department, confirmed the birth proceeded without complications and that all of Maria's children have been healthy and carried to full term, typically delivered between 39 and 40 weeks.

A photograph from the maternity ward shows Maria Mytryk, her newborn son, and her husband. The family eagerly anticipated the arrival of their newest member, making this a major milestone for them. In recent years, Ukraine has seen a modest increase in birth rates among families with multiple children, reflecting shifting societal attitudes.

This news underscores the enduring importance of family values and traditions in contemporary Ukrainian society, where the birth of a child remains a profoundly significant event.
