In Dagestan, two unknown individuals shot an MMA fighter

In Makhachkala (Dagestan), two unknown individuals attacked MMA fighter Timur Khizriev and shot him. The portal 'Glavkom' reports that the crime occurred near his home on Danilov Street. The attackers were waiting for Khizriev, and when he got out of his car, they opened fire from a traumatic pistol, firing ten shots at him.


According to the information received, the attackers quickly fled after committing the crime, getting into a white car. During their escape, they shouted insults at Khizriev's family. A 'catch' plan for the criminals was announced in the city.


“Khizriev is in stable condition; his life is not in danger. Initially, he has approximately 5 injuries to the shoulder, wrist, and chest,”

Timur Khizriev is a well-known MMA fighter. In 2024, he became the PFL champion in the featherweight category, winning a tournament in Saudi Arabia. He has also competed in Bellator and achieved three victories. Currently, Khizriev is in stable condition following the attack.


Refusal of Russian athletes to participate in international competitions

Recently, he emphasizes that there is quite a tense situation in sports circles because of the authoritative president of the organization.
