In the last two weeks, the number of servicemen who want to return from the Joint Defense Forces has increased.
The Director of the State Bureau of Investigation, Oleksiy Sukachov, reported that more than 1,700 servicemen have already returned to their units or are preparing to do so.
'Servicemen still have a few days to resolve this issue. They can return to their unit without punishment until August 30 through a simplified procedure,' he emphasized.
The SBI also reminds that the term for voluntary return of servicemen has been extended until August 30, 2025, to allow them to return without criminal liability.
'Returning to the military is not only a chance to correct past mistakes, but also a manifestation of responsibility towards neighbors, family, and Ukraine. Every defender is important for the country today, and our victory depends on unity and readiness to fulfill duties,' emphasized the Director of the SBI.
The message about the increased desire of servicemen to return from the Joint Defense Forces highlights the importance of military unity and responsibility to the country. The State Bureau of Investigation provides the opportunity to return without the fear of criminal liability until August 30, 2025.
