On St. Nicholas Day, with the support of partners and the First Lady of the USA Melania Trump, it became possible to ensure the return of seven Ukrainian children aged from 8 to 17 years, who were held in temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Kharkiv and were taken to Russia, as part of the project "Children at Home" of the Combined Headquarters of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Every return of a child is the result of coordinated actions of many people and another step towards allowing Ukrainian families to be together again and in safety.
We thank everyone who participated in this campaign and helped the children return home. This is an important step in strengthening Ukrainian families and supporting children who found themselves in difficult situations due to the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
