Kyiv's Desnianskyi District Announces Scheduled Power Outages: How to Check Your Times

У Деснянському районі Києва оголошено графік вимушених відключень електроенергії: дізнайтеся свої години відключення.

Temporary Power Supply Schedules for Desnianskyi District

From February 3rd, the Desnianskyi District of Kyiv will implement temporary electricity supply schedules. These scheduled power outages will begin at 7:00 AM on Tuesday. Residents can check their specific outage schedule using the DTEK chatbot, on the company's official website, or via the 'Kyiv Digital' application.

These changes follow the reported restoration of Ukraine's energy system, as announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on February 2nd. He stated that:

"Energy workers have fully restored the system after the technological accident that occurred on January 31." - Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Furthermore, starting February 3rd, 2026, all regions of Ukraine will implement schedules for hourly power outages and power limitation schedules for industrial consumers.

Benefits of the New Schedules

This system allows Desnianskyi District residents to access timely information about power cuts, helping them plan their daily activities around the new schedules. This initiative is part of a broader national strategy to restore energy stability in Ukraine, a critical priority following recent system failures. For context, such scheduled outages are a common utility management tool during periods of grid strain or repair. Having advance notice of these interruptions helps minimize disruption for both households and businesses, enabling people to better organize their time and resources when electricity will be unavailable.
