In Dnipro on Tuesday, July 14, large-scale changes in public transport operation continue. Due to the water pipe repair, tram track reconstruction, and storm sewer update, some trams, trolleybuses, and buses are running on altered routes, and specific stops have been temporarily relocated. This is reported by Vidomo.
Public transport in Dnipro: which routes have changed on July 14
Due to emergency recovery work on the water pipeline on Kryvorizka Street, a section from Robocha Street to Metallurhiv Avenue is closed. In this regard, bus No. 55 and No. 75 are rerouting via Arabatska, Klenova, and Robocha streets.
Bus No. 156 is also rerouting via Arabatska, Klenova, Robocha, and Kryvorizka streets, after which it returns to its usual route. At the same time, routes No. 146A and No. 146B have been temporarily merged into one with new terminal stops.
Tram track repair in Dnipro: what restrictions are in effect
At the intersection of Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue and Chorni Zaporizhtsi Street, the second stage of tram track reconstruction is ongoing. Because of this:
- tram No. 16 is temporarily not in service;
- tram No. 12 is operating on a shortened route to Sikorsky Street;
- trolleybuses No. 8 and No. 9 only go as far as Denys Kotenko Street;
- buses No. 32, No. 32K, No. 33, No. 34, No. 106, No. 127, and No. 136 are rerouting;
- buses No. 18, No. 55, and No. 151A have changed their routes in both directions.
In addition, some stops have been temporarily relocated. The end stop for bus No. 85 has been arranged near house No. 2A on Chorni Zaporizhtsi Street, and route No. 136A now concludes on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue at 123. The location of the intermediate stop 'PK Shynnyk' in the direction of Myrne settlement has also been changed.
City authorities recommend that residents plan their trips in advance and consider the temporary changes. The work is being done to update the transport infrastructure and engineering networks, so after completion, public transport movement will return to its usual mode.
