In Dnipro, the movement of electric transport will be changed this weekend (April 24-26)

In Dnipro, from April 24 to 26, the routes of electric transport are being changed due to repair work on several sections of the city. The restrictions will affect trams and trolleybuses, with some routes shortened or temporarily replaced. This is reported by the Department of Transport of the Dnipro City Council.

Changes to Transport Movement in Dnipro: How Trolleybuses Will Operate

From April 24 to 26, trolleybuses will operate considering the road surface repairs on Nauki Avenue. Some routes will be shortened to the University of Science and Technology.

In particular:

  • No. 9 will run from the Metalworking Plant to the University of Science and Technology;

  • No. 16 — from the Topolia-3 residential area to the University of Science and Technology;

  • No. 21 — from the Sokil-2 residential area to the University of Science and Technology;

  • Routes “A” and “B” will be combined: towards Soborna Square, the transport will follow scheme “A”, and on the way back — scheme “B”.

Tram No. 5 will operate unchanged during this period.

Tram Restrictions in Dnipro: What Will Change on April 25

On April 25, from 09:00 to 18:00, due to track repairs at the intersection of Nauki Avenue and Patorzhynskyi Street, the movement of tram No. 1 will be temporarily halted.

Instead, alternative routes will be launched:

  • No. 1-K will run from the railway station to Central Street;

  • No. 7 — from Staromostova Square to the University of Science and Technology.

At other times, tram No. 1 will operate in the usual mode.

Additionally, on April 25, from 11:00 to 13:00, due to repairs on the contact network on Donetsk Highway, tram No. 18 will not operate, and route No. 19 will change: it will go from Staromostova Square via Svobody Avenue to the Dnipro Electric Transport Plant.

From April 27 to May 3, the city also plans to disconnect the contact network on Nauki Avenue and Sevastopolska Street. As a result, some of the current restrictions will remain in effect.

 

It is recalled that the number of injured due to the Russian attack on Dnipro has risen to 13 people. Three men sought medical help. Six injured remain in the hospital, including two children. The night attack by Russians on Dnipro, which took place in the night of April 23, claimed the lives of three people. The attack was carried out using strike drones.
