Kamikaze Drone Strike Hits Nova Poshta Terminal in Dnipro

Атака дронів-камікадзе на термінал Нової Пошти в Дніпрі залишила значні руйнування.

Attack on Dnipro

Russian occupation forces launched a kamikaze drone attack on the city of Dnipro, targeting a Nova Poshta terminal. The strike sparked a fire that destroyed or damaged both commercial and private vehicles in the inner parking area. Fortunately, no casualties or fatalities have been reported as a result of the incident.

Emergency Response

Around 70 rescue workers have been deployed to extinguish the blaze and manage the aftermath of the attack. Additionally, 40 police officers are on site documenting the crime. Nearly 30 units of specialized equipment have been mobilized to ensure an effective emergency response.

“All these strikes must be stopped. What is needed is sufficient support for our defense and continued pressure on Russia. Our long-range sanctions, sanctions from our partners, and all forms of political and economic pressure on Russia must work so that real security can be achieved. Only pressure will bring peace.”

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Such attacks highlight the urgent need to ensure security in Ukraine and underscore the necessity of international support in countering aggression.

This assault on Dnipro serves as another stark reminder of the escalating conflict in Ukraine and emphasizes the vulnerability of civilian infrastructure during wartime. The swift response from Ukrainian emergency services demonstrates their readiness, yet these incidents raise serious concerns about the safety of people and property. Events in Dnipro once again draw attention to the critical role of international backing for Ukraine in its fight against aggression, a point President Zelenskyy continues to stress in his statements.

The recent attack in Dnipro is part of a troubling pattern of aggression, as seen in a similar incident in Kryvyi Rih, where a residential building was struck, resulting in fatalities and injuries. Such events highlight the ongoing threat to civilian safety and the urgent need for enhanced protective measures.
