In Dnipro, for a few days, the routes of trams and trolleybuses will be changed due to track repairs and work on the contact network. The restrictions will be in two stages, with some routes shortened or redirected. This is reported by the Department of Transport of DMR.
Transport changes in Dnipro on April 4-5: what will be closed and how trams will run
From 09:00 on April 4 to 18:00 on April 5, the tram track will be repaired at the intersection of Nauky Avenue and Patorzhynskyi Street.
During this period:
tram No. 1 (Railway Station – University of Science and Technology) will be suspended;
a temporary route No. 1-K (Railway Station – Central Street) will be launched;
tram No. 7 will change direction and will run through Vokzalna Square.
Also, vehicle traffic will be closed on Patorzhynskyi Street at this intersection.
Transport changes in Dnipro on April 6-7: new routes for trams and trolleybuses
On April 6 and 7, from 09:00 to 18:00, new restrictions will be in place due to the disconnection of the contact network on Nauky Avenue and Sevastopol Street.
At this time:
tram No. 1 will operate in two versions:
No. 1-K (railway station – Central Street) and No. 1/7 on a modified route without entering the university;tram No. 5 will operate shortened: Zakhidny residential area – Vykonkomivska Street;
trolleybus No. 9 will run from the Metal Products Plant to Kosmichny Square;
route No. 16 will be temporarily replaced with scheme No. 19;
trolleybuses “A” and “B” will not enter Nauky Avenue;
route No. 21 will remain unchanged due to autonomous movement.
The work is being carried out to upgrade the infrastructure of electric transport and ensure stable operation of the network in the city.
