Military Recruitment Officers Detained in Dnipro
Police in Dnipro have detained three officers from a Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) on suspicion of inflicting fatal injuries on a 55-year-old man. The detainees have been charged with intentional grievous bodily harm leading to death under Part 2 of Article 121 of Ukraine's Criminal Code. Law enforcement received a report of the man's death after midnight on February 7. A preliminary expert conclusion states the cause of death was a severe head injury. The incident occurred the previous evening around 10:00 PM in the Peremoha residential district of Dnipro. According to witness accounts, the man was walking his dog near his home when an altercation broke out. The victim was hospitalized but later died.
Investigators seized material evidence and interviewed witnesses before detaining the three military personnel, who are now in custody. This case follows other recent incidents across the country involving unlawful actions against TRC representatives.

- On February 7 in Chernivtsi, a car passenger refused to provide documents for inspection and injured a TRC officer, who responded by using a non-lethal firearm.
- Separately, on February 1 in Vinnytsia, a man fired an unidentified weapon toward a patrol vehicle and law enforcement officers at the intersection of Kazymyr Malevych and Heroes of the National Guard streets. The shooter was detained on February 4 on the Nemyriv highway by operatives and KORD special forces.
