Repairs to the water supply, tram tracks, and stormwater drainage simultaneously changed the operation of public transport in several districts of Dnipro. Some electric transport was replaced by buses, and detours were introduced for several routes. This is reported by «Our City» referencing the city authorities.
How buses are running on Kryvorizka in Dnipro on July 22
Due to the water supply repairs, Kryvorizka street is closed between Robocha and Metallurhiv Avenue. Buses No. 55 and No. 75 are detouring the area via Arabatska, Klenova, and Robocha, before returning to their routes.
Bus No. 156 additionally travels via Robocha and Kryvorizka. Routes No. 146A and No. 146B have been merged. Their endpoints are located on Robocha near Klenova and close to the intersection of Kryvorizka with Metallurhiv Avenue.
Which routes changed due to track repairs in Dnipro on July 22
At the intersection of Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue and Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv street, the second phase of tram track repairs is ongoing. Because of this, tram No. 16 is not operating, and No. 12 runs only from Staromostova Square to Sikorskoho street.
Trolleybuses No. 8 and No. 9 are heading to Denys Kotenko street without stopping at the Metal Products plant. Bus routes have changed as follows:
- Routes No. 32, No. 32K, No. 33, No. 34, No. 106, No. 127, and No. 136 are detouring the repairs via Krasnopilska and Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv;
- Routes No. 18, No. 55, and No. 151A are running on Krasnopilska;
- The endpoint No. 85 has been moved to house No. 2A on Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv;
- The endpoint No. 136A has been set up on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Avenue, 123.
The stop «PK «Shynnyk» in the direction from the settlement of Myrne has been temporarily moved closer to the intersection with Chornykh Zaporizhtsiv street. Bus No. 23 ends its route at Uspenska Square due to repairs of the stormwater drainage on Korolevy Elizabeth II street.
How trams No. 6 and No. 9 were replaced on the Old Bridge
The movement of trams No. 6 and No. 9 has been halted due to track repairs on the Old Bridge. In their place, buses No. 6K and No. 9K have been launched, which duplicate the tram routes. The fare is 10 hryvnias.
Vehicle traffic on the bridge will not be closed. The roadway will only be narrowed near the work site. Other routes, according to city authorities, operate according to the weekend schedule.
On July 22, 210 units of electric transport were on the line. The bus network is serviced by 473 vehicles on 91 routes, among which 70 large-capacity buses.
