Law enforcement revealed and detained individuals who may have participated in sabotage activities in the territories of Zakarpattia and Sumy regions. In Shostka, during an attempted arson of a military vehicle, a 19-year-old guy was detained, from whom a mobile phone with videos of preparation for the crime was seized. The police established his involvement in the arson of relay cabinets, for which he was informed of suspicion under part 2 of article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In Zakarpattia, a 22-year-old man was detained who, according to investigators, set fire to infrastructure facilities on behalf of Russian special services. The criminal was recruited through social networks, and his task was to carry out a series of arsons in the region, including a post office and relay cabinets. The suspect faces up to 15 years in prison or even life imprisonment.
As a result of the investigations, law enforcement identified and detained individuals who participated in sabotage activities in the territories of Zakarpattia and Sumy. The detained young people are involved in the arson of various infrastructure facilities, they have already been notified of suspicion, and now they face responsibility for the committed crimes.
