The EU made a statement on the opening of all negotiation clusters with Ukraine

European Commissioner Marta Kos expressed the opinion that, from a technical point of view, all negotiation clusters for Ukraine's accession to the European Union could be opened this year. She also noted that the decision to grant candidate status and start negotiations is made jointly with EU member states, including Hungary. Kos emphasized that Ukraine's progress on its path to the EU is impressive, especially considering the country's internal problems.

Ukraine is ready for integration into the EU, and the European Commission is prepared to open the first cluster for Ukraine and Moldova, despite the challenges the country is facing. Kos noted that Ukraine's successes on the path to Euro-integration are impressive in light of difficult circumstances, such as the war.
