Reports of the disappearance of a 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl reached the rescuers on August 20. It turned out that the teenagers left their home in the village of Verkhny Rozhanets towards the town of Skole on August 15 and went missing. The last communication was on August 18 when the young man called his parents and disappeared.



Search and Rescue


The rescue operations involved 20 rescuers, a canine unit, 6 drones, and 8 pieces of special equipment, which surveyed over 31 hectares of terrain over the course of several days.



Today, August 21, the children were found in a forest near Mount Vysoky Verkh. The teenagers were escorted out of the forest to the village of Volosyanka, where they were examined by medical personnel. Fortunately, the children were unharmed and were handed over to their relatives.



Rescuers successfully found the two teenagers who went missing in the mountains after several days of searching by a large team of specialists. The children turned out to be unharmed and were handed over to their relatives, marking the conclusion of a successful search operation in the Lviv region.
