In Kharkiv, starting June 16, a number of changes will be introduced in the operation of public transport due to road repairs and tram infrastructure maintenance. The restrictions will affect vehicle movement, as well as the routes of trams, trolleybuses, and buses in several city districts. Some changes will last for only two days, while others will be in effect until June 22. This is reported by the Kharkiv City Council.
Transport movement on Dudynska Street will be restricted for two days
On June 16 and 17, transport movement on Dudynska Street will be limited between Hryhorivsky Avenue and Volozhanyvsky Street due to asphalt concrete repair.
On June 16, restrictions will apply in the direction of Lyubov Maly Avenue, and on June 17 - in the direction of Poltavskyi Shlyakh Street.
During this time, trolleybus route No. 27 will be split into two parts. Some of the trips will follow the main route using autonomous motion, while the other part will operate along trolleybus route No. 11.
A temporary bus service will also be launched for passengers from Novyi Pobut Street to Lyubov Maly Avenue.
Changes in tram and trolleybus routes on June 16
On June 16 from 09:00 to 19:00, due to repairs of the contact network, tram movement will be suspended on Byron Avenue and Morozova Street.
During this period:
-
Trams No. 5 and No. 8 will operate to the 'Mukhachova Street' turntable;
-
Trolleybus No. 6 will operate from 'Universytetska Street' to the 'Park Zustrich' turntable.
To compensate for the absence of tram service, a temporary bus will run between the 'Odeska Street' and 'Mukhachova Street' turntables.
At Academician Pavlov Street, the intersection will be closed
From 09:00 on June 16 to 17:00 on June 22, transport movement will be prohibited at the intersection of Academician Pavlov Street and Shevchenkivsky Lane.
The restrictions are related to the repair of the tram crossing. Detours will be organized via Leonid Ushkalov Lane and adjacent streets.
Additionally, from June 16 to 21, trams will not operate daily from 09:00 to 16:00 on the section of Academician Pavlov Street from Saltivsky Lane to Neskorenykh Street.
The city authorities are urging residents of Kharkiv to consider these changes when planning their trips and to use alternative routes.
