Emergency rescue operations continue in Kharkiv after the enemy strike that occurred yesterday. As a result of the attack, the central part of the city was affected, where a shopping and office building and part of the entrance to a four-story apartment building were destroyed.

The following have been involved in the rescue operations:

  • rescuers
  • canine units
  • heavy machinery from the State Emergency Service
  • municipal services of the city

During the clearing of the rubble, the bodies of two victims were found, including one child. As of now, more than 3100 tons of concrete and metal structures have already been removed from the area affected by the shelling. Rescue operations are ongoing.
