In Kharkiv, emergency rescue operations have been completed following the terrorist attack that occurred on January 2, 2026. As a result of the explosion, 7 people died, including a three-year-old child. Additionally, 38 individuals were injured, including two children.

As of January 11, 2026, all debris in the city center has been cleared. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced the completion of the rescue operations and expressed gratitude to everyone who participated in this operation, including:

  • rescuers,
  • utilities workers,
  • doctors,
  • police,
  • volunteers.
