BankID Usage Continues to Climb

During the third quarter of 2026, the National Bank of Ukraine's BankID system completed 33.2 million successful identity verifications, marking a 1% increase from the previous quarter. On average, the platform processes around 360,000 verifications daily, highlighting growing user engagement and trust in digital identification services.

Expansion of BankID Services

September brought several new services into the BankID ecosystem, enhancing its authorization capabilities. These additions include:

  • The "Army+" mobile app, which continues the collaboration between the National Bank of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense, building on the earlier integration of the "Reserve+" app;
  • The "112 Ukraine" app from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Center for Information Technologies, offering emergency communication without internet access;
  • The "My Passport Service" app by the State Enterprise "Document," designed to facilitate passport-related services.

Moreover, BankID has integrated new institutional users:

  • Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) now enables access to its internal services via BankID;
  • Three microfinance companies — LLC "FC Terra Credit," LLC "Credit To You," and LLC "FC Mega Credit" — are using BankID for remote identity verification during online loan issuance.

Currently, the system supports 37 identity providers and 120 service providers.

The steady rise in BankID verifications reflects increasing public confidence in electronic services and their growing relevance in everyday life.

The integration of new platforms, especially those serving military and emergency response sectors, underscores the vital role technology plays across diverse areas of society. This advancement not only improves service accessibility and efficiency but also contributes to the broader growth of Ukraine's digital economy.
