Traffic Restrictions in Kyiv
From May 26 to May 29, traffic on the Southern Bridge in Kyiv will face partial restrictions due to asphalt concrete pavement repairs. The work will take place on the Right Bank overpass near the village of Korchuvate, heading from the right to the left bank of the Dnipro River. Repairs will affect the second and third traffic lanes. Please note that the schedule may shift if weather conditions worsen.
Other City Roadworks
Additional repair projects are ongoing across the city:
- On the Borshchahivka route, traffic restrictions on the overpass at the intersection of Kiltseva Road and Lesya Kurbasa Avenue will continue until July 5.
- Until May 31, partial traffic restrictions are in place on Hostomelske Highway in the Sviatoshyn district.
On Miska Street, major repairs have been underway since March. Over 600 meters of new, larger-diameter storm drainage have been installed, and preparations for the road base ahead of future asphalt laying are ongoing. The municipal corporation Kyivavtodor apologizes for the temporary inconvenience and urges drivers to account for these restrictions when planning their routes.
These repairs are part of Kyiv’s broader road infrastructure improvement plan, designed to enhance safety and comfort for drivers and pedestrians. The restrictions may lead to additional congestion, so motorists are advised to plan ahead and consider alternative routes.
