In the middle of the day on September 7, an air raid alert sounded in Ukraine due to enemy drones spotted over the country. This was reported by 'Hromadske' referencing the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the Air Force, drones from Chernihiv are heading towards Kyiv. Currently, a threat has been declared, particularly in the Brovary and Boryspil districts. The regional military administration reported: 'UAVs have been detected in the airspace. Air defense forces are working on the targets.'

It is worth noting that for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian troops struck the building of the Cabinet of Ministers in Kyiv. Fortunately, no government officials were injured as a result of the attack.

Additionally, as a result of a nighttime attack by Russian forces on Kyiv, the death toll has risen to three. Russian strikes damaged the capital's civilian infrastructure, including four residential buildings. The highest level of damage was reported in the Sviatoshyn district, where firefighting and debris clearing are ongoing.

During the Russian shelling in Kyiv in the Sviatoshyn district, 32-year-old Viktoriya Grebenyuk and her two-month-old son Roman were killed. The building they were in was directly hit, leaving no chance of survival.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported the presence of enemy drones over the country, leading to an air raid alert in some regions. Russian attacks on Kyiv resulted in structural damage and casualties, including the most vulnerable members of society.
