Incident in the Dnipro District
A violent confrontation in Kyiv’s Dnipro District left a 41-year-old man hospitalized after being stabbed five times. The attack occurred during a domestic dispute involving a 33-year-old suspect and a woman’s male acquaintance. Authorities have charged the assailant under Article 121, Part 1 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code, which carries a penalty of up to eight years in prison.
The altercation took place in the stairwell of a residential building on Ostafiia Dashkevycha Street. The woman, a local resident, had called her acquaintance, prompting his involvement. Suspect Apprehended
Police arrested the suspect at his residence under Article 208 of Ukraine’s Criminal Procedure Code. Officers from the Special Purpose Police Regiment No. 1 were deployed to assist in the capture. Investigators from the Dnipro Police Department are now leading the case, with the inquiry ongoing.
