A foreigner from Tajikistan is accused of raping a woman to whom he provided housing in Kyiv. The court appointment notification came from the prosecutors of the Dnipro District Prosecutor's Office. It turned out that the man invited the woman, who arrived in the capital to arrange documents for leaving the country, to spend the night in his apartment. However, when she went to bed, the rape occurred.
The victim sustained bodily injuries as a result of the attack. It is noteworthy that this same man had previous legal problems and was previously imprisoned for robbery. He now faces up to 5 years of imprisonment for rape under the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Currently, the accused is behind bars. He faces a possible punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 5 years.
In short, the foreigner is once again facing charges for a serious criminal offense and may serve a sentence of imprisonment.
