Multiple Road Sections in Kyiv to Face Traffic Restrictions Until September

Деякі ділянки доріг у Києві підлягають обмеженням руху до вересня.

Traffic Restrictions in Kyiv

From June through September 2024, several road sections in Kyiv will see traffic limitations due to scheduled repair work. Specifically, from June 18 to June 21, partial restrictions will be in place on the Hostomel Highway in the Sviatoshyn district. During this period, specialists from the Sviatoshyn Road Maintenance Department will carry out asphalt concrete pavement repairs. It is important to note that if weather conditions worsen, the work schedule may be adjusted.

Road Works and Their Impact

Ongoing road construction continues on the Borshchahivka route in the capital. Additionally, traffic is partially restricted on the overpass at the intersection of the Ring Road and Lesya Kurbsa Avenue, with these limitations lasting until July 5. Furthermore, a major renovation of Mіska Street, which began in March, is still underway. Road workers have already installed over 600 meters of new, larger-diameter storm drainage pipes.

Until September 15, pedestrian access will also be restricted on the bridge at the intersection of Beresteyskyi Avenue and the Ring Road. These changes are expected to affect daily traffic flow in the city, so residents are advised to plan their routes in advance.

The planned repairs in Kyiv are part of municipal efforts to improve infrastructure and ensure safe, comfortable traffic movement. While these restrictions may cause inconvenience for residents and visitors, it is crucial to stay informed about changes in transportation. Local authorities urge citizens to factor these developments into their travel plans.

As roadworks continue to affect traffic flow across the city, it is important to note that the Northern Bridge will also experience partial closures for necessary repairs. These ongoing infrastructure improvements are aimed at enhancing safety and accessibility for all road users, making it essential for residents to stay updated on the latest developments.
