From June 29 to August 1, traffic will be partially restricted on Roman Shukhevych Avenue in the Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv. Utility workers will be repairing the road surface, so drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance. This was reported by the KK 'Kyivavtodor'.
Where traffic will be restricted in Kyiv
Repair work will take place daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Specialists from the Desnyanskyi road maintenance administration will update the asphalt concrete surface on the section of Roman Shukhevych Avenue:
-
from the bridge over the Desenka River;
-
to Bratislavska Street;
-
towards the Troieshchyna residential area.
Traffic will not be completely blocked, but will be restricted in phases, occupying separate lanes on different sections of the road.
How long will the repairs last
According to 'Kyivavtodor', the road works will last until August 1 inclusive.
The municipal corporation noted that this schedule will allow for necessary repairs without completely closing the avenue, although drivers should be prepared for traffic congestion during daytime hours.
Drivers are asked to take the restrictions into account
'Kyivavtodor' apologized for the temporary inconveniences and urged residents and guests of the capital to consider the road works when planning their trips.
This especially concerns drivers who daily use Roman Shukhevych Avenue to exit to Troieshchyna or towards the bridge over the Desenka.
As a reminder, partial traffic restrictions were introduced in Kyiv on one of the key transport arteries in the Pechersk district for almost a month.
