Traffic Restrictions in Kyiv
From June through September, temporary traffic and pedestrian restrictions will be in place across several sections of Kyiv due to scheduled repair work. On June 23, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, traffic will be partially limited on Nyzhniy Val Street in the Podil district, specifically from Zhytnotorzhka Street to Hlybochytska Street.
Additionally, starting June 22, partial traffic restrictions will apply on Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard in the Pechersk district. These limits will span from Pecherska Metro Station to the Pechersk Overpass, with repair crews working daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Meanwhile, at the intersection of Kiltseva Road and Lesya Kurbasa Avenue, restrictions will remain in effect until July 5.
Repair Goals and Progress
It is worth noting that major repairs on Miska Street began back in March. On that street, over 600 meters of new, larger-diameter storm drainage pipes have already been installed. Furthermore, pedestrian access on the bridge at the intersection of Beresteiskyi Avenue and Kiltseva Road will be restricted until September 15.
