Emergency support centers launched in Kyiv

In response to a large-scale attack on the night of May 14, Kyiv authorities have set up four assistance hubs in the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts. The strikes, carried out with Russian ballistic missiles and drones, caused significant damage across the city. These centers are now operational to provide residents with essential support, and dedicated hotlines have been established for those seeking help.

The attack hit several parts of Kyiv, including Shevchenkivskyi, Pecherskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi, Solomianskyi, Desnianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Holosiivskyi districts. Damage was reported to multiple apartment buildings, commercial spaces, a business center, a car dealership, garages, and a parked vehicle. In Darnytskyi district, the structure of a nine-story residential building collapsed, trapping people under the rubble. Rescue teams are currently conducting search and recovery operations.
