20 new Turkish buses Anadolu Isuzu start operating in Kyiv

In Kyiv, 20 new Anadolu Isuzu buses have started operating. The vehicles have already begun their routes in the capital's public transport system after customs clearance and distribution among the depots. This was reported by Kyivpastrans. According to them, this is what Kyivpastrans is saying.

The new buses are being introduced to strengthen the city's transport network. They are primarily directed to routes that duplicate electric transport on both the left and right banks of Kyiv. This is already the third batch of buses received under the project for Urban Public Transport of Ukraine, implemented under an agreement between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank.

The transport is fully adapted for transporting passengers with limited mobility and is equipped with modern safety and comfort systems. According to the municipal enterprise, the use of the new rolling stock is expected to improve the quality of transportation and enhance safety levels on the routes.

Strengthening Kyiv's bus network: what's next

Under the current agreement, the capital has already received 60 units of new rolling stock. The supply of buses continues, with another 25 vehicles planned to be received in 2026. The project aims to renew the bus fleet and ensure stable public transport operations under increased load conditions.

It should be noted that in suburban minibuses of Kyiv region, fare for trips to the metro has increased again.
