Renewed Assault Targets Kyiv Warehouses
On September 8, Kyiv experienced a fresh wave of attacks, resulting in multiple warehouse buildings being struck. The death toll from these incidents has risen to five, with 29 others wounded. One of the attacks took place in the Holosiivskyi district, where a warehouse was directly hit. Simultaneously, in the Solomianskyi district, a drone crashed into another storage facility, causing significant casualties.
Two people lost their lives specifically in the Solomianskyi warehouse strike. Overall, fatal casualties in Kyiv have now reached five following these events.

In addition to the fatalities, 29 people sustained injuries during the attacks. The drone that struck the Holosiivskyi district crashed in an open area, where emergency responders quickly extinguished the fire. However, another warehouse in the same district caught fire as a result of a separate strike. A fire truck was also damaged when debris from the attack shattered its windshield.
Fortunately, no rescue workers were harmed. They had received early warnings about the threat of renewed shelling and were able to take shelter in time, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The Kyiv City Military Administration expressed condolences to the families of those killed: “Tragically, two more men have died due to the hostile attack. We extend our deepest sympathies to their relatives and loved ones.” Vitaliy Klitschko also confirmed the information and stressed that authorities remain in control of the situation.
