The Kyiv City Military Administration plans to implement an IT solution for issuing permits that will make the process more transparent and controlled. According to the head of the KOVA, Timur Tkachенко, the new system should eliminate abuses and leave a digital trace of each stage of document issuance.
'We are currently working on an IT solution that will eliminate abuses – so that there is always a digital trail: who issued the permit, who approved it, to whom it was issued, etc.', Tkachенко explained.
It is noted that the previous permit issuance system had serious shortcomings and operated inefficiently. As a result, the issuance of permits has been temporarily suspended, except in cases where it is truly necessary. The goal of implementing the new IT system is to abandon paper documents in favor of electronic ones, which will help avoid abuses and ensure control over every stage of the permit issuance process.
Overall, the new IT solution should make the permit issuance process more transparent, efficient, and safe, allowing permissions to be granted only to those who truly need them to perform critical tasks.
