Traffic jams in the capital: weather conditions and road services
Since night, road services have been working in the streets of Kyiv. A total of 289 units of special equipment from K.K. «Kyivavtodor» were involved in cleaning, working in columns, as well as 31 crews of 216 workers for manual cleaning of sidewalks, crossings, and stops.
The main reasons for the traffic jams noted by the Kyiv City State Administration are difficult weather conditions: heavy precipitation, temperature fluctuations, icing, and the overall overload of the urban infrastructure. Communal and transport services are operating in enhanced mode to stabilize the traffic flow in the city.
